The team behind Rainbow Lapis started as Singapore’s first professional cooking school back in the early 1980s. It is very much in our DNA to share the goodness and authenticity of the local delights: traditional Nonya Kueh. In this special workshop during STREAT 2018, we will be sharing the secret behind making of Ang Koos, the professional way. The participants get to learn tips and recipe of making a tasty, traditional Ang Koo Kueh. There will be a short, interactive sharing on Ang Koo's history and culture. Lastly, participants get to enjoy the Ang Koos made on the spot!
For the fun to continue after the event, Rainbow Lapis has put together a special pre-mix flour set for each participant. One can easily apply what they have learnt in the demo workshop at home! Comes together with a mold and recipe attached. In addition, each participant gets to bring home a 2pc Kueh sampling set.
